Our Journey

Starting from a Need

The ideas for un0 grew out of the ministry of KenyasKids.org which is an organization providing children in Kenya with food, clothing, and education. Many of the children have grown to fulfill successful careers. However, there are also many who after graduating out of the children's home have struggled to find jobs, even after successfully completing college. In working with the young adults directly and developing support for votec schooling and other key educational opportunities, it became apparent that the problem of unemployment reached much deeper than simply preparing students through education. It also was spread much wider than just the children graduating from the Kenya's Kids program.

Launching a movement

In 2021 we launched a small business with the simple goal of discovering what businesses in the area needed and what challenges were hindering their success. This small floundering business sparked the idea of a much larger movement. One that could address unemployment in all its facets and drive sustainable change.

Towards the end of 2023, un0 was first introduced as a endeavor and a network of people began to form around this important goal; learning how to reduce unemployment permanently and documenting the success so it can be repeated in other locations around the world.
